InMotion Hosting is looking for a WordPress Support Specialist to assist customers troubleshoot, customize, and understand their WordPress site. Explore the many plugins available with them to help make their website successful. You will be working with many small to medium sized business owners so you can be satisfied knowing the impact you have can help change people’s lives.

This is a brand new position for InMotion Hosting so you will also be leading the way for new opportunities within a growing company.

What You’ll Do:

Answer questions related to WordPress plugins that have been acquired by our mergers and acquisitions team
Report known bugs to our Development team
Prioritize and organize enhancement requests for plugin roadmaps
Write and maintain documentation to support internal and external users
Advise customers on setting up and customizing the plugins
Troubleshoot plugin and theme conflicts within their site
Use PHP and CSS to assist customers with further customization and plugin extensions
Provide live and recorded walkthroughs for customers to educate them on how to use their plugins, WordPress, and builder tools with BoldGrid
Communicate feature requests and bugs shared by customers with the team to help guide future mergers and acquisitions

What We’re Looking For:

A strong customer focus and the genuine desire to see customers succeed
Experience customizing and enhancing WordPress sites through the use of plugins and themes
Familiarity with the WordPress Plugin API
Involvement in the WordPress community highly preferred
Experience writing PHP scripts
Experience with CSS, preferably to customize plugins
Familiarity with Sprout Invoices, Help Scout Desk, and weForms Pro plugins highly preferred
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
