We are looking for a solid Java or .NET Developer to join our team creating and maintaining complex technical solutions in the financial services industry. We would love to find a rock star with both Java and .NET or at least someone willing to work in both environments. This position will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including creating web-based applications for internal and external client use, web APIs, user interfaces, database design, financial data, architecture, and deployment. We are focused on our clients and develop iteratively to ensure they have the data, information and systems they need to move quickly on business problems.

Requirements:

3-5 years’ of professional C# and/or Java 8+ experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS
Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or similar technology for build, deployment and automation
Proven ability to interact with business users to define and test system requirements and specifications
Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies
Ideal candidates will have or be willing to learn the following:

Knowledge ASP.NET MVC 5 and ASP.NET Core architectures
Knowledge of Java web applications, Java design patterns, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Strong in SQL, T-SQL and Optimizing Query performance
Understanding of information security controls and prevention and resolution of vulnerabilities.
Working knowledge of resolving application performance issues in data and middle-tier
Experience with Message Queue technologies, such as Kafka or IBM MQ
Experience with automated unit, integration and functional testing methods
Experience working with Junit, SpecFlow, Cucumber and Gherkin
Experience with Git
Experience working with Docker
Experience in developing microservices applications
Knowledge of application migration to the cloud environment
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JS frameworks and libraries, such as Angular
Responsive design and/or mobile application experience
Takes ownership to ensure that documentation and procedures are maintainable and current
Experience in working with Agile & Kanban frameworks
Ability to lead and take responsibility for projects
Comfortable working independently and in a distributed team environment
Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. (This position is eligible to participate in a company bonus plan and stock program]
