The winning candidate must be a proven self-starter, an avid learner, and able to deliver results that exceed expectations. Someone who is passionate about their work and wants to grow personally and professionally. You will work on solving interesting technical challenges within the Etix system, as well as in third-party software applications used by various departments. You are good at actively handling many projects simultaneously while keeping internal and external stakeholders well-informed of progress. You have excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition.

This position is based in our Morrisville, NC office. We anticipate being back in the office full time on August 1, 2021.

Responsibilities

Resolve internal tech support tickets filed by all departments in a timely manner
Carefully construct and run database queries, using Oracle SQL and Postgresql
Manage connections between internal system and SaaS applications: front.com, JIRA, Google,
CyberSource, Microsoft Office, Slack
Google Admin: responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding employees
Assist with merchant account set-up
Troubleshoot corporate equipment
Conscientiously look for ways to improve workflows and cut costs
Participate in the on-call rotation (after training); each member of the team is on-call for one week at a time (Tuesday – Tuesday)

Requirements
Skills/Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Attention to details and methodical execution of tasks
Even-tempered and calm under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional organizational skills
The ability to innovate and creatively problem-solve
Some helpful technical abilities: JIRA, Linux, SQL, Jenkins, Google Workplace, Mac & PC hardware
Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
