The ideal candidate must have a vast knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as well as full-stack custom website development. Our custom B2C/B2B e-commerce platform is written in PHP and we use the Laravel framework. The candidate must be comfortable working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment and be able to pick up complex subjects quickly with little guidance. Working with the team you will help build, maintain, and improve our e-commerce website, design application architecture, and build features that provide a high-quality experience for our customers and internal team. Basic Qualifications:
Passionate about development and familiar with DevOps practices
Creative problem solver
Continuous integration and testing familiarity
Ability to build new functionality and resolve bugs in a fast-paced environment
Understand design patterns and practical application architecture
Experience in an agile environment, kanban, with multiple deployments per day
A strong understanding of LAMP stack development
Experience using MVC framework(s) to develop web applications in PHP
Experience in developing responsive, mobile first websites
Hands on experience creating and implementing APIs
Experience with cross-browser compatibility and testing
An ability to abide by, evolve, enforce, and evangelize code standards and help maintain a clean, consistent code base
Ability to manage time and workload effectively; understand when/how to reach out to peers, managers and other functional leads for guidance or escalations
Cross-functional communication skills; be able to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences
Be a champion of innovation and receptive to change
Preferred Qualifications:

Built and maintained a custom e-commerce web application as part of an internal team
Deployed multiple Laravel based web applications
Experience with Laravel 5+ and Vue.js
Experience with Elastic Beanstalk, MariaDB on RDS, EC2, S3, Cloudfront and Route 53.
Designed and deployed CI/CD solution(s)
Masters in Computer Science or relevant experience
Experience optimizing page load times
Experience with A/B testing
